- Short: 8SVX Sample made with Maestro Prof.
- TYPE: music/sound
-
- I suppose that everyone downloads also this readme file if he
- downloads the sample. The docs inside the archive are GERMAN!
- I had no time to throw together an English docfile so I write
- all important stuff to this file.
- I sampled this fine tune with Maesto Professional (produced by
- MacroSystems). That's a internal card for A2000/3000(T)/4000.
- The card is connected to a CD-player or DAT recorder via optical
- or coaxial cable. Maestro reads the digital output and saves it
- to the hard disk. The point is that Maestro writes the 16-bit
- data it gets from the source! If you play the sample the output
- is 14-bit via your Amiga. The sampling frequence is 44.1kHz as
- it is stored to CD at this frequency. I let the Maestro software
- convert the 44.1kHz to about 22kHz so the original 22MB file had
- 11MB. Then I exported the sample to 8SVX format so that other
- people can play it without special software. The sample now
- has a length of about 2.8MB. That's okay, isn't it? The quality
- is very very good, just listen to it! Better than those nifty
- samplers for the parallel port, eh? :-))

-
- oh, I totally forgot: the sample consists of four parts of the
- Rapunzel-gag on the CD "Kann denn Schwachsinn Suende sein?" from
- the well known (at least here) group EAV (Erste Allgemeine
- Verunsicherung).
- Have Fun!
- Sami.
